If you’re new to HappyBidDay (or plan to sign up), we’ve put together a few valuable bidding strategies for you.
How to Use Happy Auctions to Get Bids Cheap on Happybidday.com
HappyBidDay sells bid packages just as all the other penny auctions do. However, they offer another way for bidders to get bids which in our experience, usually ends up being much less expensive than purchasing through the normal channels. HappyBidDay offers a unique type of auction which they call a Happy Auction. Happy Auctions work the same way as any other penny auctions except that you don’t have to buy bids to participate in them (they are free to participate-in). The bids used in Happy Auctions are given-away to members for doing things such as signing-up, logging-in daily, inviting friends, having a birthday, etc.
You see, Happy Auctions don’t usually offer the high-end products that you get in HappyBidDay’s penny auctions. They mostly offer inexpensive products and more-importantly, bid packages. The trick is to take your Happy Bids and try to win bid packages (instead of just buying bid packages). The reason you do this is that, time and time again, we see bid package auctions close well-below the cost which the bids would cost you if you paid retail. And since Happy Bids don’t cost anything, you almost always end up better-off winning bid packages in Happy Auctions than you would if you have bought them directly.
Here are a few sample closed Happy Auctions for bid packages:
The auction shown above was a recent Happy Auction for a 500 Bid Package. This package sold to winner for $12.64 who had to pay a processing fee of $2.99. The total cost to the winner was only $15.63. The same bid package runs about $300 if you pay retail although HappyBidDay usually runs deals for 50%-70% off ($90-$150). In either case, winning a 500 bid package for $15.63 in a Happy Auction gives you huge savings!
The auction shown above was a recent Happy Auction for a 300 Bid Package. This package sold to winner for $18.88 who had to pay a processing fee of $2.99. The total cost to the winner was only $21.87. The same bid package runs about $185 if you pay retail although HappyBidDay usually runs deals for 50%-70% off ($55-$92). In either case, winning a 300 bid package for $21.87 in a Happy Auction gives you huge savings!
In reality, not all Happy Auctions for bid packages finish this low, but many do. The great thing about this strategy is that you can stop bidding on these auctions when they get to high and it costs you nothing (because the bids are free). So, look for the Smiley Face icon on bid package auctions and save a bunch on HappyBidDay bids!
